Social Bowls This was purely a social event with no driving. Warwick Bowling Club provided a great location for barefoot bowling. We split into 3 groups and had some excellent instruction and encouragement from Mike and Liz from the bowling club.
Some people had played before, some were new but clearly had the knack for it, and some of us (definitely me) were enthusiastic but totally lacking in any skills. Kelvin was unfortunately relegated to the role of spectator after a recent mishap involving a ladder. Regardless it was a lovely way to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon.
After playing we had some nibbles and took advantage of the club bar. A big thanks to Warwick Bowls Club for all their help.
