The Karridale block looked a bit like a caravan park with people camping all around the block. In addition to the All Tracks members we had a lot of family and friends who had gathered to celebrate the fact that I had reached the ancient milestone of 70 earlier in January
Diane and Simon took a group out driving around the Boranup area on Friday.
Destinations included some lovely forest and coastal tracks.
North Point is always a favourite to visit. Its an awesome spot with the waves crashing over the rocks.
Most people spent a bit of time on tourist stuff as well, with some visits to Augusta. On Saturday Shane Scott took a group down Bob’s track to see the sunset at Boranup beach.
Sunday was party day – festival theme, with the All Tracks crew looking awesome in their festival gear.
The lovely people from the Soul Cocina food truck kept us well fed.

Jenny (our daughter) decorated us with temporary tattoos. We had the mandatory wrist bands, and of course, as with all festivals – it rained.
The security dogs didn’t have much to do.
The kids had fun too.
It was a great excuse for some silly games and for dancing the evening away. A big thank you to my brother Billy Neal for his awesome music. My 95 year old mum got into the swing of things.
Thank you to the great group of people who came to help us celebrate, and for my presents including the 4000 piece puzzle which should keep me busy for a while! It was a wonderful weekend
