Participants: David J – Patrol; Shane -Triton; Bill and Christl - 76 series LC; Ivo - 76 series LC; Spence and Penny - 76 series LC This trip was meant to happen in May, but the ‘Rona stopped us. Keeping our bush clean
Another clean up for DBCA, this time on the west side of the Avon Valley in Moondyne country. A small concentrated pile of domestic rubbish (including furniture and white goods) had been found by DBCA rangers. We have magnificent bush land areas to the east of Perth and it is disappointing that there are people out there who would drive kilometres into the bush to dump rubbish, rather than pay to dump at any of the refuse disposal sites around Perth. As can be seen from the f

Brunswick, March 2020
Back in March, Dave F organised a pre-winter trip down to Brunswick for some exploring and an overnighter for some. My work was a little too far away to make it back for this trip (Sean, Ed'), however the following images and videos from BM Prado Adventures and Simon's Adventures clearly show how much fun was missed. This is a great area to explore, and "just add water" only ramps up the fun factor! The enthusiastic group of "All Trackers" that attended include: Dave - Pra

Red Hill Bush cleanup Videos
Back in March, an enthusiastic group of club members led by our club President, assisted the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions, with a clean-up at Red Hill. Part of John Forrest National Park, it is close enough to Perth's eastern suburbs to get rubbish dumped by persons too inconsiderate of the environment to take waste to nearby refuse facilities. Two stories were published back on the 8th of March about this clean-up day. Since then, club members who

John Forrest NP clean up - getting around Red Hill
As a conservation area, Red Hill as part of John Forrest National Park is usually off limits to 4WD's. As much as we are all saddened by the closures of such awesome 4WDing locations, it is also very easy to acknowledge why DBCA does gate off so many areas. The selfishness of a few to many, too tight in the hip pocket to pay a fee at the adjacent Red Hill Waste Management Facility, who dump rubbish in the National Park instead. Reason enough to be installing gates (everywhere
