It was a really good turnout of club members. For many of us this shed has memories of previous tech days where all manner of work was done on vehicles. The fork lift made a great hoist.

And the shed has been a great place for birthday and Christmas parties with lots of laughter, banter and friendly ribbing. There were no neighbours about to complain about noise early in the morning.

Clearing the shed is a bit of an understatement when you see how big the shed is and just how much can be stored in the shed. However, when a good size group turns up anything is possible.

The brief was simple: A skip bin for steel, a skip bin for aluminium and everything else for the tip, unless people had a use for something. Jane claimed the traffic cones for next lady’s driver awareness day. Spence took a pressurised water/weed sprayer. Di found a pot for her garden.

The aluminium was cut to fit into the bin. Used bolts kept for a rainy day were poured into the skip for steel. Things were retrieved from the top shelf. Trailers filled, then jumped on to fill some more.

Morning tea was yummy treats from the bakery and lunch was shared pizza.

After a group photo we headed home.
